Kalvin and Cancer

Walks help me feel like me. Walks are good for Kalvin and I. I couldn’t go for my walk this morning because my ankle is throbbing! Kalvin was offered a walk with Kyran but he declined. Little stinker never wants to leave my side. He went as far as the road at the end of the driveway then whined and pulled Ky to come back in. That is sad for me. He’s super attached to me. He loves the kids and Mikey but he doesn’t like leaving me. I’ve tried talking about this to him but he is stubborn and loyal to a fault. He’s also been rotating between licking my foot and laying his head on my shoulder and chest. He smells so nice and I can feel his love for me.

Kyran texted me something I found super interesting…. one because it’s coming from Kyran and two because even though I know nothing about astrology stuff it was pretty interesting to read.

So there we have it…Kalvin and I had an instant connection. Which is why he’s here with my family. I didn’t go looking for a puppy, nor did I think I wanted one. Until that day in September when he came into my office, laid his paw and face on me and I was instantly in love.

The day Kalvin and I met

Little did I know that day that 10 days later I would bring him home 🐾

Those 10 days were HARD - I was trying to find every reason not to and yet my whole heart knew I was meant to. I’m so thankful I finally listened! I can’t imagine this experience without Kalvin by my side.

Cancer is the fourth zodiac sign. Cancerians are primarily known for being emotional, nurturing, and highly intuitive, as well as being sensitive and sometimes insecure. Their elemental sign is water, which makes sense when you consider the emotional depths associated with this sign. Nurturing and loyal, Cancers are also protective of their loved ones. While reserved, they stand on a foundation of strength – and aren't afraid to act when they feel it's necessary. The symbol of the crab offers a key to understanding Cancers' preternatural ability to know things without knowing how they know them.

Also, a dog with a zodiac sign of cancer came to me and is such a gift - breast cancer also came to me and can be the same. I’m certain I’ll be a better version of me when this season is complete.
